Posted by in Selling Car, Tips For Vehicle on January 17, 2012
Are you trying to sell a car that no longer runs? Some buyers may still see value in buying that automobile especially if it is considered a classic. There are several different ways to sell a car that is not running.
One way to sell and make a profit on a car is that not running is to put your car up for sale in the local newspapers, or online websites that have free selling classified ads. It is important to advertise your vehicle as a “project vehicle” so that people know that the car isn’t functioning. One can usually land a buyer that is willing to take a car that is not running and fix it with no labor cost to them.

Trade in Vs Selling Your Car
Posted by in Selling Car on January 17, 2012
Sometimes, when purchasing a new car, the most difficult thing that one must establish, is what to do with your current car. There are some options available. One option is to trade the vehicle into a dealership.
Trade-in vehicles are valued by dealerships, for its resale or auction revenue. Dealerships will be glad to take your trade in and make the process very easy for you as the shopper. There usually isn’t any bargaining with trade in value but if the dealer’s assessment isn’t fair, give haggling a shot. Legally, the dealer accepts your trade in as is, and cannot contact you if the vehicle breaks a week later.

How Do I Sell a Financed Car?
Posted by in Financed Car, Selling Car on January 7, 2012
When trying to sell your financed car, you should try and sell your car as a private seller. If there is no success with that, try and sell it as a private seller through a dealership, and if all else fails you can always sell it to a dealer. The most important thing to do in order to sell your car as a private seller is to make it marketable; your car must be appealing to the customer. Clean your car inside and outside, fix minor scratches and scrapes, and ensure the car’s overall running condition is good.
Put a “For Sale” sign and make sure you include these three things: Price, Contact Information, and Mileage; the customer should be able to figure out the rest. You should also show the value for a similar car in similar conditions and then price your car lower. Buyers would then know that you did your research, and you are willing to sell at a competitive price. Make sure to take quality pictures of the car and post “For Sale” signs at work bulletin boards and online websites like Edmunds.com, Craigslist.org, and Autotrader.com. Even in this economy, the combined effort should help you sell your car.
If you cannot manage to sell your car on your own, go to a dealer and have them sell it for you. Usually this incurs in a management fee, but their services are very beneficial and will most likely get your car sold.
